The new 22,000-square-foot Aubrey B. Harwell Leadership Center at Boxwell Reservation replaces the 65-year-old Stahlman Dining Hall and ushers in a new era of youth development and leadership training. Named in honor of Aubrey B. Harwell, Jr., an Eagle Scout and lifelong Scouting leader, the Leadership Center was designed to support growth, collaboration, and learning for Scouts across Middle Tennessee. Key features of the facility include expanded dining capacity, a modern kitchen and service areas, and dedicated conference, classroom, and office spaces for leadership programs. Ample outdoor gathering areas including a program porch, courtyard, and assembly space surround the building.
R.C. Mathews is proud to have worked with the Scouting Americas organization to complete this wonderful project that strengthens the Scouting experience while supporting local jobs, leadership development, and year-round programming for thousands of youth across the region.
