Nashville, TN — The Jack C. Massey Center at Belmont University has been honored with the Award of Merit in the Higher Education/Research Category given by ENR Southeast. This recognition highlights the project’s exceptional design, construction quality, and innovation, positioning it as an exceptional project in the realm of higher education and research facilities.
Nestled in the heart of Belmont University's rapidly growing campus, the Jack C. Massey Center serves as the university’s new “front door” and welcome center. Named in honor of visionary entrepreneur and businessman Jack C. Massey, this six-story building is meticulously designed to inspire collaboration, innovation, and creativity at every turn.
The project was completed in just 18 months, which is an impressive feat given the fast timeline, tight job site, and the state-of-the-art technology integrated into the building. Each space within the Jack C. Massey Center was purposefully crafted to meet specific needs, whether it be collaborative areas for students, ample offices for faculty, or the admissions theater designed to “wow” prospective students. Additionally, the Jack C. Massey Center is LEED Silver and Fitwel One Star certified, making it the first Fitwel certified higher education project in Tennessee.
