Say hello Louis, one of our summer interns and a rising sophomore at Auburn University studying Building Science!
Louis's interest in construction started at an architecture camp at UT Knoxville, but he pivoted to studying Building Science at Auburn and hasn’t looked back. During his summer with R.C. Mathews, Louis is looking forward to experiencing the hard work and detail that goes into building a structure, and he is excited to help a project come to life.
Quick Facts About Louis:
Fun fact: He can do a standing backflip!
Go-to Work Day Lunch: Louis likes to keep it simple with a sandwich, Doritos, and an apple.
Hobbies: Playing golf, pickup basketball, and basically anything sports related, watching Star Wars and Game of Thrones, and hanging out with his family's new puppy.
Louis values making connections with people, and one of his personal goals after graduation is to remain in touch with many of the people who has had formed relationships with throughout his time at Auburn. This summer, Louis hopes to build meaningful relationships and confidence to bring back into the classroom and future working opportunities. We are glad to have Louis on the team and can’t wait to see where this experience takes him!
