We are grateful to announce that the Fisher Center for The Performing Arts at Belmont University has won the national "Best of the Best Projects" competition in the Higher Education/Researtch category, awarded annually by ENR! We are incredibly proud of this project team, and we are honored that this project has recognized for its innovative features, unique design elements, extraordinary attention-to-detail, and much more.

The Fisher Center for the Performing Arts is a large performance hall on Belmont University's campus that features performance and rehearsal space for productions of all levels. The building includes at 1700-seat main auditorium, two recital halls, and an extraordinary grand lobby that holds up to 900 guests. The Fisher Center also features a variable acoustic system that includes curtains placed in wall pockets that can be deployed to manage audio needs and tune the room for different events. A ten-foot-wide medallion with fiber optic lighting details are just one of the many striking elements in this building. Additionally, an acoustically transparent domed ceiling allows sound to travel up into the attic volume before being diffused or absorbed. This state-of-the-art performance hall will not only serve Belmont University, but it will also extend to international audiences for decades to come.
