R.C. Mathews Contractor recently completed the renovation and build-out of the former Buddy Lee Auditorium at 38 Music Square East for Belmont University’s Curb College of Entertainment and Music Business. The 17,654-square-foot project transforms an existing facility in the heart of Music Row into a vibrant, modern academic and creative hub.
The reimagined space now includes new offices, specialized music rooms, and conference areas, which are all thoughtfully designed to foster collaboration and support the next generation of entertainment and music business leaders. As part of the renovation, the project team implemented major electrical and mechanical upgrades and completed essential structural repairs to address unforeseen conditions within the existing building. Due to its unique location between two active office buildings, construction required precise coordination and communication to minimize noise and disruption to surrounding tenants.
